The Gavia Pass connects due beautiful valleys: Valtellina and Valle Camonica
Santa Caterina, in Valfurva, is the town from where the Gavia Pass starts, reaching the top of it at 2600 mt of altitude.

The pass is surrounded by Mount Tresero and Va Sobretta: two areas of great naturalistic and historic interest.
